Get Up to $2,000 in Tax Credits for Your Residential HVAC Upgrade

The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 provides federal tax credits to homeowners in order to help reduce energy costs. Through 2032, homeowners are able to claim up to $2,000 on HVAC upgrades we make to their home. 

Am I Eligible?

To be eligible for the credit, you must own your home, it must be your primary residence, and it must be an existing home. This credit is not available for landlords or newly constructed homes.

What Types of Upgrades are Eligible?

These tax credits apply to upgrades on Central Air Conditioners, Air Source Heat Pumps, and Furnaces. Below are links to the ENERGYSTAR webpage for each upgrade.
